Bidcon / Cronnelly Roofing are approved contractors for the installation of External Insulated rendered systems which qualify for grant aid from S E I.
Our most recent project is a 1940’s bungalow in County Meath which was upgraded with the SEI approved insulation on the external walls and in the attic.
The cost of the contract was 9,900 euro in total with the owner qualifying for 4,200 in grant aid.
The owners expressed delight with the new heat in their home and had to open the windows for a period of adjustment (in December !) until they had the settings on the boiler adjusted. They estimate that they will half their energy usage and the Building Energy Rating (BER) has gone from a G rating to a B2 rating.
